Geni.com announced yesterday that thier site now supports translation of 20 languages, and the language translations are continuing.  This allows the company to have a more global appeal as users can use thier own languages to create thier family tree.

To change your language you select the language tab in the upper right corner of the screen as shown below:

The software designed to allow this to happen is called Tr8n, and it was built inhouse by the Geni staff using Ruby on Rails.  I am excited about this as it will give many of my relatives that dont speak english as thier primarly language a chance to imput thier information and we will be able to comminicate.
