Well last night, my laptop breathed it last breath.  I tried numerous times to try and reload the machine, but I believe that hard drive is physically damaged.  Time to look for a new laptop, or get an new hard drive for the machine.  Till then I will not be making to many advancements in the realm of genealogy.
