David,
ReplyDeleteIf you have an Ancestry Member Tree, you do NOT need any subscriptions, there is NO time limit, as they are FREE.
IF you have and "own" an Ancestry Member Tree, AND you have FTM2012, then go to the Plan Workspace, New Tree, and select the option to Download and Link from Ancestry.com.
Make sure that you have Registered FTM2012 BEFORE you do that above. The registration is in the Help menu.
Russ
Russ. The issue currently is that I have to contact nova to get registration/serial. Then I have to find the file to install or most likely pay more to grit a download link from nova.
ReplyDeleteDavid,
ReplyDeleteNova is a reseller of the Software. What happens when you click on Help, Register?
Russ
Russ, I was able to get the serial numbers for FTM from NOVA they resent me the info. Additionally they resent me a download link even though I bought it about a year ago w/o the 2yr "keep link alive" for 6.95.
ReplyDeleteAll in all it was great to see the great support. One thing I found odd though is that Ancestry.com has no record of me purchasing FTM 2012, I would have thought there would be some sort of talk back between the two companies. Either way I am good, back to validating my tree and updating with the census available for free right now (I mostly use AncestryLibrary).
