Over at the Geni Forums,  they are now offering annual subscriptions to their pro accounts.  The cost for 1 year is 50$.   It equals about $4.10 per month.  If you go month to month it is $4.95 which is $59.40.  So you save about 10$ or as they say two months for free.  Not to bad, I am still waiting for more items to be available for the Pro accounts before I drop any money.    Below is the current benefits of a Pro Account
