I know this happened yetesterday, but I thought it worthy to mention that Windows 7 was released on Oct 22,  2009.  Where was I at 12:01am on 22 Oct? Well I was at a Fry's Electronics becuase we wanted to get a copy of 7.  Well really my friend wanted to get a copy, I guess he thought they might be sold out by the time a normal store opens up   Just so everyone knows the lines were outrageous, I think there were about 10 people in line at 11:50pm.  :)

We got our copies, as I was already running a copy of Windows 7, I knew what to expect and was already prepared.  I think its a great upgrade from XP, and well worth to drop Vista.
