Website Question

If anyone has the time to look over my site and try and explain to me how to make a second column were the extra white space to the left is that would be great.  The site was built in HTML5, from a template from Blogger Buster.  I have made a few minor changes so far trying to tweak it how I want to see the site.  Thanks
