I know its the Thanksgiving weekend, but I like to pop over to FamilySearch every few days to see what new databases/index's or images have been updated recently.   On today's look I noticed something new on the front page of FamilySearch.

They have updated the initial search on the front page:


Most of the options were already available after the initial search of first name and surname.  They now have added them to the front page.   I think one new item for searching is by batch number, I did not see that available anywhere else.  I have not had a chance to use the batch number search at this time.
